The Weatherspoon Agency, a regional division of American Income Life (AIL), has been a leader in providing supplemental benefits for over 68 years. As the only 100% union-based premier supplemental benefits company, we proudly serve over 40,000 labor unions nationwide.
Our clients include working-class groups such as military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, government employees, auto workers, teamsters, and members of the music, entertainment, and professional sports industries, including the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Atlanta Braves. Altogether, we support over 5 million active policy-holding members and counting.
What Sets Us Apart:
Our customers reach out to us directly for their benefits and services through their union and association representatives. This means no cold calling is required. Members often make informed and direct requests (sometimes personally handwritten and mailed) for our benefits packages. They recognize the importance of additional coverage since their standard work benefits may be eliminated or reduced upon retirement. We provide them and their families with permanent benefits, offering protection and peace of mind for a lifetime.
